An Indian delight! - For all those Indians who are staying away from home and miss the food their mom s cook, this dish can bring a smile to your face. Spicy and delicious. One of the better MTR dishes out there.
Drumsticks!!! - The only reason i am writing this review is to explain what the big green things are. (see previous review.)These green things are pods that grow on a tree are (sometimes) referred to as drumsticks in India. They are no thicker that a finger and are 12 to 24 inches long and awfully tough- hence the name. They are a traditional ingredient in this dish- and though i dont care much for these drumsticks, this dish is one of very few MTR has got right. it pretty much needs to be eaten over soft/ sticky rice.
Extremely spicy - I know most Indian food is spicy, but I didn t see anything in the listed ingredients so I thought I d give it a shot. There are big pieces of something green that I don t think humans should be eating :)If I dig out the big green things, dilute it with lots of dairy to tone it down, and put it over rice or potatoes I can eat it without being up all night with indigestion. It s probably ok if you like spicy food.
